Steak Weller is a spin off of the tried and true Steak Diane recipe. Still just as delicious, and just as juicy, made with Weller Beef steaks
This easy steak tidbit recipe is can dressed up or down, adding veggies and potatoes to the dish or simply serving with a side of rice or fries
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Beef Broth
4 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
3 Tsp Dijon Mustard
4 Center Cut Weller Beef Tenderlion Steaks (about 6oz each)
3 Tbs Butter
1/2 Cup Finely Cut Onion
2 Tbs Minced Garlic
4 Tbs Brandy
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
1 Tbs Parsley
1 Tbs Chives
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Wisk together the broth, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Set aside
Sprinkle both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper. Set aside at room temp for 15-30 min
Add 2 Tbs butter to skillet over medium high heat.
Pat Steaks dry and turn the skillet heat up to high. Sear the meat for 1-2 minutes each side
Remove steaks, tent with foil, and let them rest
In the skillet, saute the onion on medium high heat. Add garlic, and butter to pan
Add Brandy and light with a match to flambe. Continue to cook, lightly shaking the pan by the handle to stir until the flame dies down
Stir in the broth mixture and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened (about 2-3 min), stirring often
Stir in cream and add the steaks with any accumulated juices to the pan.
Turn steaks in sauce until warmed through and the sauce has thickened
